Camping 101

This weekend my boyfriend's family and I spontaneously decided to go camping at
Christopher Run Campgrounds located in Lake Anna, VA. 

Needless to say the closest I've been to camping has been a motel 6.. 

And we did the whole shabang - pitching our own tent, making smores and ho-bo pies, 

and lots and lots of wine/lime-a-ritas. 

In the end, 

The highlight of the weekend was definitely all day Sunday though - 

wake boarding, water skiing, boat riding, bridge jumping, and amazing beauty.  

A few necessities when camping (coming from a newbie) would definitely be:

• Bug spray
• Lantern/flashlights
• Smores ingredients
• Blankets/pillows
• Alcohol

But most importantly... Good company.
