This weekend I met my florist/reception designer!
Donna from First Dance Floral Designs
Donna from First Dance Floral Designs
She is SO great!
Uses fresh flowers from the Amish closer to where I grew up, Southern MD.
We met up at a little place in Annapolis Downtown called Reynolds Tavern.
It was so cute - a pure doll house with tea and little tea sandwiches.
I got a pot of the Georgia Peach Tea - so fresh!
I was feeling pretty bummed before the appointment driving there by myself, wishing Ryan was there to help go through the planning process with me. I wasn't expecting anyone to meet me there, my friends were gone for the weekend and my parents were busy.
So I was the lonely bride lol - I'm being dramatic.
Anyways, we get there then my mom starts calling me and I answer to hear her saying,
"where is this place?? we are here!"
I was so happy and surprised they drove up to meet with Donna and me.
We all had tea and talked about the look I was going for my reception.
Instead of "nautical ropes" and "anchors" I am leaning towards a more romantic feel with beach glass and pearl accents.
Here are a few of my most inspiring Pins :)
